Refund policy

01 Change of Mind Returns

We do not accept returns for change of mind. However, if you contact us within 14 days of delivery and the item is unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition, we may offer store credit at our discretion.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

02 Craftsmanship & Variation

Each knife is made in Japan by hand. Minor variations in pattern, finish, or handle may occur. This is not a defect — it is the nature of handmade craft. Refunds will not be issued for natural variations inherent to the manufacturing process.

03 Warranty & Defects

If your knife arrives damaged, defective, or does not perform as intended, contact us within 14 days of delivery at info@oniblade.com.au with clear photos and your order number. We will assess the claim and offer one of the following: repair, replacement, or refund.

04 Knife Care Responsibility

Japanese knives require proper care. Hand wash and dry after every use. Do not use in a dishwasher or on hard surfaces such as bone or frozen food. Damage caused by improper use or care is not covered under warranty.

05 Transit Damage

If your order arrives damaged in transit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the knife. We will work to resolve it.

06 Cancellations

To cancel an order, contact us before it ships. If the order has already been dispatched, our standard returns policy applies.

07 Refund Processing

Once a return is received and approved, refunds will be processed within 1–2 business days to your original payment method.
