The petty knife is what you reach for when precision matters more than power — peeling, trimming, segmenting citrus, cutting herbs. At 120mm it is short enough to control and long enough to be genuinely useful.
The Momoyama Petty carries the same hagane san-mai construction as its larger siblings — a carbon steel (ハガネ) core, wrapped in stainless on both sides. The edge has the sharpness and whetstone-friendliness of true carbon steel. The outer layers keep rust away.
Small knives work hardest. This one is built for it.
